my co-worker and friend, justin, introduced me to this new site: momentile.com
it’s pretty cool. if you don’t submit your picture for the day, it sends you a text reminder. one picture per day, no more, no less.
it keeps them all in a neat little box that you can flip through. it allows other users to create the captions, so it’s a completely interactive experience.
I’m pretty excited to start using it. I like that there aren’t very many people on it yet. I always forgot to take my daily picture, so that feature will be put to good use by me. I also like that you can’t add descriptions, it forces you to really tell a story with your pictures.
if you start using it, “stalk” me at: momentile.com/mango and I’ll “stalk” you back. :) yay for fun new little sites. thanks justin!

I have been a vegan for over 2 years, a vegetarian for many more. I have never had tofurkey. shocked? yeah. I don’t know why, something about it just rubbed me the wrong way, I was convinced it would taste awful.
on a little shopping trip to my favorite grocer, sunflower farmers market, I noticed that it was on sale. I decided to give it a go. I have been struggling to find delicious, easy lunches to bring to work, and instead have been spending way too much money eating out around our office.
sooo… verdict? I like it. I got the peppered tofurkey slices, and it’s actually quite good. as the name suggests, it’s made with tofu, so not really helping my whole “no soy” goals, but it has great protein (13 grams in 5 slices, and they are very thin slices at that), it tastes good, and I’m really excited for a delish sandwich for lunch tomorrow.
in other news…
dante is still in a cone, and he’s still angry.
